The narrative of the film centers on Razan (played by Summer Shesha), a Saudi mother who lives in the UK with her teenage daughter. When she comes home to celebrate Eid Al-Fitr and shares a revelation that will change her life, her entire world is turned upside down. When her British-Pakistani fiancé, Sameer (played by Hamza Haq), shows up uninvited and unintentionally, things take an unexpected turn, paving the way for a memorable Eid full of drama and humor.

The series reportedly tackles the intricacies of life in Saudi Arabia with a humorous outlook. It takes themes like family ties, relationships, and social taboos and deals with them very well.

This is what director Aboushousha had to say about the film:

“We started off with a concept of someone who is different from their family, and that grew into this story of a single mother who returns from abroad. We started wondering, what will inspire the clash with the rest of the family? "

"Immediately we realized, ‘oh, she should come back ready to be married to someone from outside the culture!’ Everything fell into place from there,”

The film is heartwarming and is sure to bring a smile to the faces of viewers with the lighthearted comedy sprinkled throughout the scenes. Things are surely looking good for the Saudi film and television industry.
