BTS member Kim Namjoon, who goes by his stage name RM, sent his fans into an online panic as he revealed the details about his eye injury during his Weverse LIVE on November 14, 2023. The rapper and songwriter came online to meet his fans and upon being asked, he mentioned that he got five stitches below his eyebrow for the injury.
Namjoon explained that it happened while he was filming something and the camera was really close to his face. Accidentally, the camera slipped and hit near his left eye and he was rushed to the hospital immediately:
"My eye? I got about 5 stitches. I was filming something and the camera was too close so it slid against that area and so I had to stop filming and go right to the hospital but I'm fine now!"
Evidently, this made his fans panic as they fervently tweeted on X and expressed their concern and shock that the artist got '5 STITCHES."
To add further details regarding the incident, the Wild Flower rapper uploaded a photo on his Instagram story on November 7, 2023, where the cut over his left eye and near his eyebrow was visible. This made his fans extremely worried about him as they kept posting about his injury on social media.

Namjoon is known for being clumsy and has earned the moniker 'God of Destruction' from his fandom. When Namjoon aka RM mentioned during his Weverse LIVE on November 14 that it was a serious injury and there was too much blood, his fans expressed shock wrapped in guilt for assuming otherwise.
Additionally, RM mentioned that initially, his vision got blurry due to the injury and he went on to show other bruises on his left eyelid.
Fans rushed to social media and flooded it with their worries about the Indigo artist as they tweeted, "And we never thought it was that deep" and "I thought that's just a bruise." While other fans echoed similar concerns for Namjoon.
RM continued to sing along to Jungkook's SEVEN and 3D lyrics at the Weverse LIVE on November 14. He declared that his two favorite songs from GOLDEN are Hate You and 3D. This delighted his followers even more as they had urged him to participate in a dance challenge with his band. In response, he said he wasn't sure whether his bandmates would want to dance with him.
