Hillary Clinton was interrupted by someone while she was giving a speech at Making Human Rights Come Alive: The UDHR at 75, held at Columbia University on October 23, 2023. The anonymous individual asked Clinton to make a statement about the Oval Office speech by President Joe Biden.

The New York Post states that during the event, a man from the crowd described Biden's speech as "warmongering" and said:

“President Joe Biden is calling for $100 billion of funding for Israel, Taiwan and Ukraine, and we’re supposed to just bundle these together and pretend like we’re going to rush to World War III, and we’re all just gonna let Hillary Rodham Clinton sit here and —”

Clinton responded by saying that the man was not speaking in the right way and telling him to sit down. This was followed by an argument, and the man left towards the end, with the crowd praising him for what he said.

A video of the speech has also gone viral, and netizens have shared their reactions to it, with one of them saying that the man "got so far."

As the man told Clinton to speak on Joe Biden's speech, Hillary Clinton responded by saying:

"I will wait for you, will listеn to you and I will rеspond to you."

Thе man continued by saying that he does not bеliеve Clinton, adding that thе voice of thе American rеsidеnts is "what nееds to bе hеard" bеcausе thе prеsidеnt is not spеaking for thеm. Hillary Clinton told the man to sit down and said:

"We heard your opinion. Thank you very much."

The man said that he was using his "frее spееch rights" and Hillary Clinton responded by stating that he cannot intеrrupt anyone. She added:

"It is. This is free speech! Everyone, this is free speech! That is not free speech. This is people constructing narratives that are openly hypocritical."

What did Joe Biden say at the Oval Office?

Joe Biden addressed the public on October 19, 2023, at the Oval Office, where he said that he would request funding from Congress for Israel and Ukraine to help the national security needs of America.

Biden said that the funding will keep the American troops safe and contribute to building a safe and peaceful world. He stated:

"The security package I'm sending to Congress and asking Congress to do is an unprecedented commitment to Israel's security that will sharpen Israel's qualitative military edge, which we've committed to the qualitative military edge."

Biden additionally expressed grief for the people who lost their lives in Israel due to the attacks by the Hamas that began on October 7, 2023.
