“An insecure man with a large ego” — Christina Hall calls out estranged husband Josh, accuses him of taking $35K from her amid divorce

As Christina Hall’s estranged husband, Josh Hall, shared a video of himself walking through the woods marking his comeback on social media, the TV personality shared a lengthy rant on her Instagram stories accusing him of taking $35,000 from her bank account. Posting the stories on Thursday, July 25, 2024, Christina Hall said,

“I have worked my a*s off to build this life for myself and my children and anyone who would try and take what they do not deserve/what they did NOT work for should be ashamed. An insecure man with a large ego can sure try and derail you.”

She continued the stories by stating how she will “rise” above him, as she stated,

“For those that aren’t aware… divorces do not happen overnight and there is always a breaking point. This one is personal.”

Page Six also reported that the documents filed in court by Christina Hall state how her ex-husband took out the vast sum from her account, as she stated in the petition,

“I am asking for Josh to account for the funds taken and return them to me as those funds are specifically used to pay any loans, obligations, property taxes, insurance, and maintenance for these rental properties.”

The former couple tied the knot at a secret ceremony in October 2021 and later had a grand celebration in September 2022. As per Tribune, the duo parted ways on July 8, 2024, and filed for divorce on July 15, 2024, citing the reason as “irreconcilable differences.”

Christina Hall claimed in her petition that Josh Hall made questionable transactions related to her properties in Tennessee

Christina and Josh Hall’s divorce has become messier after the TV personality accused her former husband of making questionable moves related to her farmhouse in Tennessee.

As per People Magazine, Christina mentioned in the court documents that she mostly rents out her farmhouse when she is not using it and has also hired a property manager to handle the rent, maintenance, etc.

She stated in the documents submitted in court that soon after the couple filed for divorce, Josh contacted the property manager and had him change the bank account that gets the rent from the tenant. Christina claimed in the documents,

“The day after I communicated to Josh that I would be filing for dissolution, Josh contacted my professional property manager via text and stated 'Hi. For June payments, can we please get it sent to a different account when it’s time? Thank you.”

To prove the same, she also shared an alleged screenshot where Josh sent his personal account details to the property manager to receive the rent. However, PEOPLE Magazine also mentioned that a source close to Josh mentioned he wanted the payment of the rent in his account, as he was the one who handled the bills and maintenance of the rental properties in Tennessee.

Christina Hall’s publicist also stated to PEOPLE,

“Christina has always employed a professional property manager for her separate Tennessee properties. All mortgage and expenses in regard to the properties Christina owns have always been handled by her through accounts via autopay. They have never been paid from Josh’s personal Wells Fargo Checking Account that he had prior to the marriage."

While Josh is requesting spousal support, Christina Hall also filed a petition in the court requesting the court not to award him the same. At the moment, Josh has not responded to the claims made by his former wife.
