Bill Maher, the American comedian who talks politics in his HBO show Real Time with Bill Maher, made a prediction about Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's budding romance.

During the Monday, July 29, episode of his Club Random podcast, where he invited Hailey Welch, aka Hawk Tuah Girl, he claimed that the NFL tight end would dump the four-time Album of the Year Grammy-winner, saying:

"He's gonna dump her, though, you know that."

The 68-year-old comedian and commentator further speculated on the Swift-Kelce relationship, saying that, while no one can predict where the finish line is, an ending to their relationship is inevitable.

"With her, it's like the Gatorade at the Super Bowl. You know you're gonna get dumped—you just don't know when."

Hawk Tuah Girl, who claims to be a Taylor Swift fan, also gave her opinion about the matter, expressing somewhat excitement about a possible album that the Midnights singer would put out what Maher predicts comes true.

"You gotta think about it this way, if he does that, can you imagine the next album we're gonna get off of that?... it will be 'F*ck Travis."

Bill Maher calls Taylor Swift "very tacky" for writing and singing about her exes

Besides boldly predicting an end to the Bigger Than The Whole Sky hitmaker with her football player boyfriend, Bill Maher also called the pop star writing and singing songs about her ex-boyfriends "very tacky."

During his conversation with Welch in the podcast, they also briefly talked about Swift's Eras Tour and how she sings songs from her previous albums, to which Welch noted that for her, it would be tacky to sing about her ex-boyfriend. As for Maher, he replied:

"It's very tacky, I think. It's very tacky. I mean, you can't control what the "muse" dictates you—she's a songwriter. What's in her mind, what's coursing through her emotions, of course. It was break-up stuff, so she's going to write songs [about it]."

He added:

"I can't fault her for that. But it does seem like a recurrent theme that at some point you just want to say, 'Maybe you should write a song called 'Maybe It's Me.'"

That said, at one point, the Real Time with Bill Maher host claimed that he liked Taylor Swift when she was country. He also name-dropped the song Sparks Fly, the fifth single from Swift's Speak Now album, and said he loves the song. Bill Maher also claims that Sparks Fly in his playlist.

Elsewhere in the episode, Maher was also critical of Swift being a 30-something woman with a "football player" boyfriend and going to his games all dolled up and wearing a Chiefs jersey with Kelce's number on it. He thinks that the pop star is a "lovely person," but that she's "a little too old" for the "whole thing with the football player."
