The teaser for The Girls starts off with BLACKPINK's signature slogan and reveals one line from the song's lyrics.

After the reveal of these lyrics, fans connect them with the American singer-songwriter, producer, and One Republic's lead vocalist Ryan Tedder's Instagram story that he posted a day before. Given that the probable snippet of the OST's music video in Ryan's story had the members themselves appearing instead of their game avatars, fans hold hope for a fresh music video from BLACKPINK.
Fans are also excited and intrigued about a possible cross-over between the two artists for the upcoming OST.
