"Bro think he in a game show or something" — Internet reacts as Akon sings 'Locked Up' with an alleged predator moments before his arrest

Senegalese-American singer-songwriter Akon recently joined Russian YouTuber Vitaly Zdorovetskiy’s August 1 livestream to catch an alleged predator at a park. The Beautiful singer went up to a man in a blue t-shirt, and began singing Locked Up with his arm around the suspect's shoulder.

Vitaly and his team, donned in tribal costumes, surrounded the man and began swaying to the song. The suspect was seemingly amused at first and vibed to the act as the singer twisted the original lyrics of the song to match the context:

"You’re about to get locked up/ They won’t let you out."

Once the song came to a pause, the man appeared to go about his own way muttering a quick "Thank you" to the others. But he was stopped by the singer-YouTuber duo as Akon told him he was actually going to be arrested. Two supposed cops were later seen putting handcuffs on the suspect while Akon continued the song with Vitaly holding up a JBL speaker.

Clips of the livestream soon made the rounds across Instagram and X, spurring comical reactions from netizens. DJ Akademiks' also reposted a snippet where one person joked that the suspect might have thought he was in a game show.

X user @scubaryan_ and a few others reposted different snippets from the livestream, prompting more reactions.

"That's going to be one hell of a prison story", one person wrote.

Vitaly and Akon bring cops to round up on alleged child predator at a park

As Akon stopped singing during Vitaly's livestream to inform the child predator about his subsequent arrest, the suspect seemingly attempted to come up with excuses to escape the situation. The singer soon told him in a stern voice:

"That was an introduction. You know what they do to people like you in jail here?"

The man appeared quite perplexed to grasp the gravity of the situation as he began pleading in broken sentences, trying to reason what he was doing at the park. Pointing towards the supposed minor, the man said he was asked to hang out. The minor in question could be heard telling the blue t-shirt guy how he thought the latter wanted to sleep with him.

But the suspect denied the claim and said, "No, we don't do that." Vitaly ultimately interrupted the man's pleadings and berated him:

"Stop saying 'please'. You have more vocabulary than f***ing 'please'. Talk to me like a man."

Pointing at Akon, Vitaly added:

"Talk to him like a man."

The YouTuber asked the suspect to retrospect his decision to go to the park with a minor.
