Fans ecstatic about BTS' full-group OST, The Planet

Ever since the announcement of BTS' new OST for the animation, BASTIONS, fans have been feeling overjoyed over the same since no one was quite expecting a song consisting of all members' participation due to j-hope and Jin's military enlistment.

The Planet by BTS will serve as the animation's theme song, and it was reported that it was recorded before the members enlisted for mandatory military service. Fans couldn't have been happier about the unexpected news, and have been busy promoting it on several social media platforms. They've been publicizing their goals for The Planet on the internet, which has inevitably led to the hashtag "ThePlanetByBTS" trending on Twitter.

In addition to BTS' The Planet, other K-pop artists will also be contributing to the animation, BASTIONS' OST. Some of them include LE SSERAFIM, Heize, Alexa, Seo J, Kang Min-seo, Rapper P. Cassady, and the former members of Brave Girls. With an outstanding array of artists contributing, fans have naturally raised their expectations for BASTIONS and eagerly await it.

The animation is produced by two well-known productions of the industry, Nable Communications and the renowned animation director, Je Beum-jin. The director became famous and bagged several awards for his 2006 animation, Aachi & Ssipak, which was an X-rated black-comedy animation restricted for adults. Additionally, Thymos Media will be the entertainment corporation under which the production and distribution of this animation and its OST will take place.

With less than a week left before the official release of The Planet by BTS, fans have not only been eagerly looking forward to it but have also been heavily preparing to best support the OST. The song surely stands as quite a special release for ARMYs since this will be their first time listening to a full-group track since their release with Coldplay, My Universe, and their anthological album before that, PROOF.

Additionally, since BTS' j-hope and Jin are currently serving in the military, fans quite happy to still get to hear their voices on The Planet despite their current absence in the industry.
