BTS rounded off its last day of the Permission to Dance On Stage - Seoul concert on March 13, and thanks to an accident, the day has become memorable for millions of ARMYs worldwide. During the smooth R&B/rock song Fake Love, Jungkook's jacket popped open. The black jacket hung on to one button for its dear life as the maknae's bare upper body shone underneath it.
The all-black outfits for the group were introduced at the PTD Los Angeles concert, and even then, both Jungkook and Jimin's long V-necked, nothing-underneath outfits had fans obsessing over the fits. In the latest concert, the slip-up even had the idol laughing at the undone buttons but he still did not let it hinder the dance.
BTS' Jungkook's 'Fake Love' outfit goes viral again, this time at PTD Seoul Day 3
One of the fan-favorite BTS concert outfits remains the all-black embroidered suits accessorized with silver chains. The septet changed into elegant outfits for their second subset of songs, performing Blood, Sweat & Tears, and Fake Love, among others with the suits.
During the energetic Fake Love performance, Jungkook’s deep V-neck jacket buttons popped open, except for one.
The idol couldn’t help but smile wide when he realized what had happened, but being the ever-focused Golden Maknae, he continued on with his performance.
Safe to say, Day 3 of the Seoul concert is the most skin that the idol has ever shown - incidentally or not - in his almost nine years of debut. Twitter became a haven for BTS and Jungkook stans as the timeline was filled with the youngest member’s Fake Love performance slip-up.
While some reveled in the moment, others pointed out that Jungkook did try buttoning up the jacket on a closer inspection. They especially focused on his expression, saying that he, too, must have panicked. He can be seen trying to button up in the clip but failing to do so in the short time limit he had before retaking the center of the stage.
Meanwhile, a Korean news outlet previously reported that fans could expect a new surprise song during the concert. However, there was only a mention of it. Jimin confirmed that the group will be releasing a new song soon towards the end of the concert, raising anticipation for the septet’s future activities.
The next official schedule for BTS is to attend the 64th Grammys on April 3. The group is nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
