Actor Ralph Fiennes recently appeared on CNN's New Year's Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen. Fiennes hopped onto the "very demure, very mindful" trend created by beauty influencer Jools Lebron. Fiennes even admitted that he had never come across the trend until Andy showed it to him a day before.
Andy further requested the Conclave actor to narrate his version of the trend. He asked:
"I showed you the video yesterday. Can you perform this for us?"
Fiennes then began:
"Well look, this is how I do my makeup for work. Very demure, very mindful. I don’t come to work with a green cut crease. I don’t look like a clown when I go to work. I don’t do too much. I’m mindful at work."
While the actor narrated the monologue, Anderson Cooper almost fell laughing so much. The host's giggle didn't go unnoticed, and fans even commented on it on social media. Here are some popular responses found on X.
A user tweeted:
"I think CNN has managed to break Anderson Cooper 😭 #CNNNYE."
Another user wrote on X:
"Anderson Cooper's reactions are always top-tier 😂.
"Even Anderson sas his limits—CNN found them," added a tweet.
"I love how unhinged this is 😂," commented a user.
Some even complimented Anderson and described him and his giggles as the best part of the show. A user tweeted:
"Anderson is the best part of this show every year!!!"
"Best part of NYE is Anderson giggles," wrote another one.
"The best giggling Anderson ever!!" read a tweet.
Anderson could be seen trying his best to keep himself composed; however, he seemed to crack while listening to Ralph Fiennes' narration.
