Kylie, who accompanied her boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, was sitting with his A Complete Unknown co-stars. A video was shared on social media capturing an awkward interaction between Demi and Kylie.
Demi Moore won the award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy category for her performance in the 2024 movie The Substance. After receiving the award, Demi headed to the table where Kylie was seated along with Elle, Fanning, and others. While Demi Moore was having a conversation with Elle, Kylie seemingly tried to be a part of it by congratulating her.
The 62-year-old actress, however, just responded with a brief "thank you", before getting back to her conversation with Elle. The video then captured Demi going straight to Timothée, skipping Kylie Jenner. The video has since been going viral on social media platforms including TikTok and X. While the uncomfortable interaction between Demi and Kylie Jenner has sparked debates online, the 27-year-old media personality impersonated Demi's iconic 1996 movie during Halloween in October 2024. In one of the photos, Kylie was sitting with her legs crossed covering her body, staring at the camera.
The look was the exact image of the movie poster which involved Demi in the same pose. In another one posted on Instagram, Kylie was seen wearing a shimmery bikini, that looked very similar to the one that Demi wore in the movie.
It wasn't just the outfit and poses, but the makeup and hairstyle that Kylie opted for during the photoshoot were also impersonations of Demi Moore's 1996 film.
Meanwhile, as the recent video of Kylie Jenner and Demi's interaction went viral, Khloé Kardashian shared photos from the Golden Globes event, in which she described Demi to be "stunning" on the red carpet. According to an article by The Tab, Khloé also shared Kylie's photo and wrote:
