Elon Musk removed his controversial remark from X, surrounding the recent assassination attempt on Donald Trump
Elon Musk, who has been one of the most vocal supporters of Donald Trump, has expressed his take on the second assassination attempt on the former President. A lot of netizens didn't take it well, many claimed, as aforementioned, that the statement by Musk was "encouraging violence."
In July, Donald Trump faced the first assassination attempt which caused him and injury in the ear as well. After the latest one, he confirmed through a fundraiser well, that he was fine. Trump wrote:
"There were gunshots in my vicinity, but before rumors start spiraling out of control, I wanted you to hear this first: I AM SAFE AND WELL!"
It was further confirmed by the US Secret Service that their agents fired at an alleged gunman, identified as Ryan Wesley Routh, who was present near the boundary of the gold course. They also mentioned discovering an AK-47 style rifle with a scope was recovered along with a GoPro video camera.
The viral controversial tweet made by Elon Musk recently was deleted sometime after it was posted. A lot of netizens, however, shared the screenshot of the post, thus, making it trending and viral.
Post the assassination attempt on Trump, current President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris expressed that they were glad that the former President was left unharmed.
