South Korean actor and singer, Ji Chang-wook made an appearance on episode 15 of the YouTube talk show Salon Drip on November 19, 2023. Titled How a ProKisser Went Undercover, the episode saw the presenter of the show, Jang Do-yeon bringing up the actor's on-screen kiss on the K-drama The Worst of Evil.
When Jang Do-yeon asked the actor about his friends' reactions, the latter couldn't contain his laughter. The 36-year-old told the presenter that his friends were also curious about his kiss with his The Worst of Evil co-star South Korean soloist BIBI.
"People around me…asked why I bit the lower lip so much. Like, ‘Did it not hurt?’," the actor said.
Set in the 1990s, the highly successful Disney Plus original K-drama stars Ji Chang-wook, Wi Ha-joon, Im Se-mi, and BIBI. The Worst of Evil explores the life of undercover police detectives who work for a large-scale criminal network that distributes illegal drugs throughout China, Japan, and Korea.

Fans poured their appreciation for the kissing scene between Ji Chang-wook and BIBI
The scene that Jang Do-yeon was referring to during her talk show Salon Drip 2 was from episode eight of The Worst of Evil. The scene shows Ji Chang-wook and BIBI sharing a passionate kiss in episode eight of The Worst of Evil. The former who plays the role of an undercover police officer named Kwon Seung-ho and the latter, who is a Korean-Chinese drug dealer named Lee Hae-ryeon, found themselves alone in a room during the episode.
Even before the door closed behind them, Hae-ryeon pushed Seung-ho up against a wall and kissed him. However, the intense encounter appeared to be rather one-sided to the viewers. Her efforts were thwarted when the door opened and an uninvited visitor came in.
Ji Chang-wook explained during the talk show that his friends were as surprised as his fans after watching the scene from The Worst of Evil. It is worth noting that the particular kiss scene has managed to garner a separate fanbase for itself from all across the world.
Many fans took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their thoughts about the scene with many saying that they couldn't get over the scene.
The South Korean actor also made his admirers laugh with several hilarious and unforgettable moments in Salon Drip 2's episode 15. He had a hilarious response when Jang Do-yeon asked him to play out some action sequences from the drama.
He retorted by asking her how he could perform an action sequence when she wasn't going to stand up and pretend to play the bad guy. His response didn't just have the audience laughing but the personnel and crew also laughed with them. A fan even took to X to claim that the actor was "unintentionally funny."
Ji Chang-wook also mentioned that doing an action-thriller is extremely exhausting. He recounted instances from filming for the K-drama where he would require the support of oxygen pumps after filming strenuous action scenes. This revelation was applauded by his fans as they hailed him for his dedication and sincerity.
