Tesla CEO Elon Musk has made it to the headlines after changing his X account name to "Kekius Maximus" and selecting the meme character, Pepe the Frog as his profile picture. The meme character of the profile picture appeared to be using something like a joystick.

As mentioned by coincheckup.com, "Kekius Maximus" aka KEKIUS, is a cryptocurrency token that was based on memes. It is available on multiple blockchain platforms. KEKIUS, recently, has become quite prominent after it sold at about $0.005667, on December 27, as per reports by memecointer.com on the same day.

Elon Musk changing his account name and profile photo did not go unnoticed by netizens. They soon flooded X, formerly known as Twitter, with their responses to the same. Here are some popular reactions found on the platform. A netizen (@the_one_orlando) wrote on X:

"Looks like PEPE might be the next big thing, DOGE might be a thing of the past."

Another user questioned:

"Is he launching something?"
"Are there dolls oh I mean action figures of you cute," asked another one.
"Now we gotta watch elon cosplay for a week 😒 lmao 🤣," mentioned netizen.

While many users seemed more confused, others appeared to be more carefree and presumed that Elon was just trying to grab some attention. A user tweeted:

"I think Elon Musk’s name change to Kekius Maximus is just another example of his playful and unpredictable nature. It’s all part of his unique approach to making a statement in the public eye."
"Elon just wanted to be cute, and that just awesome🐇👮🏼‍♂️🚀," read a tweet.
"I’m loving every minute of this 🤣🤣🤣💯," added another tweet.

This was not the first time that Musk had changed his account name to something peculiar. In January 2023, the Tesla CEO decided to keep his X user name as Mr. Tweet. As per Deccan Herald on December 31, he also changed the user name to "Naughtius Maximus."

Elon Musk has recently been in the news for advocating and defending the H-1B program

Billionaires Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy have been advocating for the involvement of foreign employees in the tech industry in the United States. Several other MAGA supporters, however, did not have the same perspective, which further resulted in contradictions too.

Amid the chaos, President-elect Donald Trump seemingly shared his take. Trump told The New York Post on Saturday, that he was in favor of these visas. He further referred to the H-1B visa program and mentioned:

"I’ve always liked the visas, I have always been in favor of the visas. That’s why we have them."

According to The Post, Trump who had been critical of such programs in the past, further said:

"I have many H-1B visas on my properties. I’ve been a believer in H-1B. I have used it many times. It’s a great program."

It is unclear as to what will be the fate of these programs, now that multiple people are fighting either against them or to defend them.
