During the 90-minute debate on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, the current Vice President, who is also running for the Presidential election, highlighted the main legal issues of Donald Trump.
Trump mentioned during the debate that the Biden administration “allowed criminals, many, many millions of criminals, they allowed terrorists, they allowed common street criminals, they allowed people to come in, drug dealers, to come into our country.”
During the televised debate on ABC, Kamala Harris and the former president clashed over issues such as the economy, foreign policy, abortion, and immigration laws. However, many were left stunned when Harris touched on the topic of Trump’s many legal battles, as she said:
“This is so rich coming from someone who has been prosecuted for national security crimes, economic crimes, election interference, and has been found liable for s*xual assault. And his next big court appearance is in November at his own criminal sentencing. Let us be clear where each person stands on the issue of what is important about respect for the rule of law, and law enforcement.”
As Harris highlighted Trump’s 34 felony counts, many social media users were left impressed and sided with the current Vice President. Through X, @PopCrave posted about the same on social media. One netizen commented:
“Even he knows she’s right.”
Other users also commented:
“The tables have turned, and Trump's in the hot seat,” wrote one netizen.
“He was left speechless,” added another X user.
“Clock that felon!” said another netizen on X.
During the debate, Harris criticized Donald Trump's policies as many others also mocked him.
“He is definitely crying in his pillow tonight,” joked another.
“Sounds like Kamala just delivered the ultimate roast while dropping a mixtape of Trump's legal woes. Maybe she should start a podcast called Courtroom Chronicles with Kamala,” suggested another user on the post.
“She roasted him,” mentioned another internet user.
