A Facebook post claiming that Taylor Swift was kicked out of Guy Fieri's restaurant has been trending on social media platforms. The post shared on the official page of SpaceX Fanclub on September 16, 2024, claimed:
"Guy Fieri Kicks Taylor Swift Out of His Restaurant "Don't Come Back Here, You Ain't Anybody's Role Model.""
However, the report has been proven to be false since SpaceX Fanclub is a page that shares satirical news. The page is full of other fake news related to Swift, with one claiming that the singer lost around 100 million followers on Instagram after Donald Trump wrote in a Truth Social post on September 15, 2024, that he hates Swift.
Notably, Trump's words were shared in response to Taylor Swift endorsing Kamala Harris through Instagram a few days ago. A similar rumor about Swift went viral on September 13 when the same Facebook page reported that Eras Tour could not sell enough tickets after the artist was criticized for her social media post supporting Harris.
Esspots elaborated on the alleged incident that happened between Taylor Swift and Guy Fieri
A news article related to Taylor Swift being kicked out of Guy Fieri's restaurant was shared a day before the Facebook post went viral. The article stated that Fieri approached Swift and told her:
"Don't come back here, you wokes."
The article also mentioned the accounts of some eyewitnesses, with one saying that Taylor was at the restaurant with her friends and having a burger. A few reports claimed that Swift was surprised by everything that happened and Fieri allegedly told the employees of the restaurant:
"Flavortown isn't a place for politics. It's a place for flavor. And when someone like Taylor Swift walks in, throwing her woke politics around, that's where I draw the line. My restaurant, my rules."
The article concluded by stating it was satirical. Swift and Fieri have not responded to the fake report yet.
Taylor Swift shared an Instagram post supporting Kamala Harris
As mentioned, Taylor Swift addressed her support for Kamala Harris through Instagram a day after the presidential debate on September 11, 2024. She added a photo holding a cat and started by writing:
"Like many of you, I watched the debate tonight. If you haven't already, now is a great time to do your research on the issues at hand and the stances these candidates take on the topics that matter to you the most. As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can about their proposed policies and plans for this country."
Swift wrote that she would vote for Kamala Harris in the upcoming 2024 Presidential Election, adding that the latter "fights for the rights" and continued:
"I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman's right to her own body for decades."
The 34-year-old's latest album The Tortured Poets Department received a positive response after its release in July this year. It had made record-breaking sales and also grabbed the first spot on the US Billboard 200 and UK Albums.
