The Palisades fire which started in an area of only 20 acres, spread across 200 acres in just 20 minutes, as per reports by BBC. The horrific fire forced thousands of people to evacuate in Los Angeles as their homes began to burn down. The fast moving bush fire which broke out in the afternoon of Tuesday, January 7, has already covered 3,000 acres.

Meanwhile, several celebities such as Khloé Kardashian, Hailey Bieber, Alabama Barker and Chris Pratt among others, have reacted to the horrific situation, online. Hailey shared a news update about the fire on her Instagram story, and wrote:

"Praying everyone is safe."

Alabama Barker also took to her Instagram story and shared multiple updates about the situation. In one of them, she revealed that she was also among the ones who had to evacuate their homes after the spread of the wild fire. Barker wrote:

"Just evacuated from my home due to wild fires in Los Angeles, please be safe!! They are saying the fires are spreading football field amounts in seconds."

In another story, Barker urged that people evacuate with their animals instead of leaving them behind. Notably, actress Mandy Moore also had to be evacuated with her pets and children. Meanwhile, Khloé Kardashian shared a tweet addressing the firefighters and fire responders. She wrote:

"Your selflessness, resilience, and tireless efforts to protect lives and communities are deeply appreciated. You are true heroes, and we are incredibly grateful for all you do..."

As per reports by FOX News dated January 7, more than 13,000 buildings as well as 26,000 people have been affected by the blaze. Over 250 LAFD firefighters and firefighters from other agencies were reportedly fighting to bring the Palisades fire under control. The list included some A-listers like Ben Affleck, Jhené Aiko, Kawhi Leonard, Eugene Levy, Tom Hanks, and Miles Teller. TV personality Spencer Pratt reportedly lost his home in Pacific Palisades due to the blaze.

77-year-old actor James Woods had to evacuate his house in Pacific Palisades on Tuesday. He further shared clips and photos capturing the damage caused by the fire.

Eugene Levy told The Los Angeles Times that he was stuck amid the rush of people as well as the spreading Palisades fire. Levy added:

"The smoke looked pretty black and intense over Temescal Canyon. I couldn’t see any flames, but the smoke was very dark."
