A video of a man rampaging the cash register counter inside a Chipotle restaurant in Washington, D.C. went viral on Twitter. The incident was caught on a surveillance camera and investigators are currently looking for the man.
According to WUSA9's Spencer Allan Brooks' May 19 tweet, the rampage took place on a Sunday afternoon on April 16. The Metropolitan Police Department said that officers were called to the restaurant on 5th Street Northwest between K and L block at around 1 pm and got a report of the destruction of property. The customer was reportedly outraged over a taco order.
However, the man had already left by the time the officers arrived at the restaurant. After reviewing one of the surveillance cameras inside the outlet, they found the video showing a person walking along the counter before they grabbed a stack of paper bags and tossed them over the counter. The culprit then picked up a large black gift card holder and tossed it aside as well before pulling the monitor and throwing it in anger.
Netizens were stunned by his behavior and took to the comments sections of Spencer Allan Brooks and Daily Loud's posts to share their views on the same.
