"Half a century age gap" — Internet reacts to Bill Belichick, 72, and his 23-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson's sunset photo

On October 6, 2024, a photo of Bill Belichick and his girlfriend, former cheerleader Jordon Hudson, went viral after Hudson posted a series of photos with the caption:

One photo that caught particular attention featured the couple enjoying a sunset. Fans even pointed out that Bill Belichick was wearing a shirt from Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, which he reportedly attended back in July 2024. Hudson shared other photos of the couple as well, including them looking at each other in one and others where they were seen enjoying outdoor activities.

The sunset picture was reposted on X by @FearedBuck to which people started commenting. One netizen on X commented jokingly on the couple's age difference, stating:

"Half a century age gap."

Several other netizens voiced their opinions on the picture.

Others alleged that money was the main factor in the relationship.

Jordon Hudson and Bill Belichick reportedly first met in 2021

According to a TMZ report dated June 14, 2024, former cheerleader Jordon Hudson and NFL coach Bill Belichick first met in 2021 during a flight from Boston to Florida. A former teammate of Hudson shared that the two bonded over a philosophy project Hudson was working on. It wasn't until June 2024 that TMZ reported their romantic relationship, which reportedly happened shortly after Belichick split with his ex-partner, Linda Holliday.

TMZ further reported that, according to some sources, Linda and Belichick separated privately back during the 2022 season. For the unversed, Linda Holliday has been the president of the Bill Belichick Foundation for a long time now.

Hudson reportedly supported Belichick at his games at Gillette Stadium during the 2022 and 2023 seasons without much attention. However, her recent social media posts appeared to make the relationship more public. In March of this year, Bill Belichick was seen supporting Hudson at a cheerleading competition.

While the couple hadn't previously spoken particularly about their relationship, New England Patriots player Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski seemingly hinted at something. During Netflix’s The Roast of Tom Brady in May, Gronkowski said:

"Coach, you used to talk about Foxborough High School when we sucked. But now I know why you were so obsessed with Foxborough High School: you were scouting your new girlfriend."

Additionally, TMZ reported that Hudson assists Belichick in his business endeavors. Despite their public appearances together, the duo has not made any official statements regarding their relationship.
