Social media star and entrepreneur Jayda Cheaves landed herself in a little bit of trouble after netizens criticized her for the new promotional video of the Waydamin swimwear line. The problems emerged after two young boys were spotted stealing her swimsuit top as she was resting near the ocean. Notably, one of the boys is her son named Loyal.

The majority of the public was critical of the presence of two kids in an ad that had a s*xual theme. Some others said that Cheaves should have been aware that the video would cause certain issues and questioned how they could consider the clip to be acceptable.

Jayda Cheaves recently responded to the criticism in the comments section of her Instagram post that was shared on July 19, 2024, and it included the promotional video. One of the reactions to the video stated:

"Not b*tt naked with the kids."

Jayda said that it was not easy for people to understand the reason behind using her child in the video and added:

"But plz keep in mind we were all acting & trying to visualize the concept to create this short film, hence to why I got up made sure nobody was around and then proceeded to embrace that I was topless.. without any knowledge of who took my @waydaminbrand bikini top because I was asleep when it happened in the film."

Jayda Cheaves shares her son with Lil Baby

The Savannah, Georgia, native has managed to become a popular face with her career on YouTube. But apart from that, her personal life has also been a subject of discussion over the years. She welcomed a child named Loyal in 2019.

Loyal was born following her brief relationship with rapper Lil Baby. While there are no details available on the time they started dating, Jayda Cheaves was featured in a few music videos of Baby. The duo split after the rapper allegedly cheated on Cheaves on different occasions.

Furthermore, Jayda Cheaves opened up about her relationship with Lil Baby in an interview with Hollywood Unlocked in 2021. She claimed at the time that a lot of things happened between her and Lil and continued:

"Like, yeah, he do love me, I'mma say, but as far as the internet, like I always say, we're comin' up together. He learning stuff he never even seen before about social media and all that and I'm seeing things way different than I saw them before as I get older."

Cheaves added that social media has damaged their relationship, but there is a chance that they can resolve the problems. She addressed the cheating rumors by saying that she let go of the same at one point, believing that she wouldn't get anything in the end.
