A FOX news reporter was reporting live from outside the school building of Gilman School, the private school that Luigi Mangione attended growing up in Maryland. As the journalist spoke, a leaf blower was behind her, and the noise from his machine was interrupting her. She told her viewers the man reportedly had told her he wouldn't leave until they did.

The reporter called it "hostility" in the community around Mangione's alma mater. The video was uploaded on X on Tuesday night and has since gone viral, receiving over 2 million views and 5K likes at the time of writing.

Netizens are reacting to the clip, criticizing the reporter for covering the school, which has no direct link to Luigi Mangione's alleged crime or arrest. One user wrote on X:

"Huge W from the grounds worker."

Some netizens spoke up about the students of the Gilman School feeling allegedly harassed by the reporter despite having nothing to do with the shooting.

"I love it. Good for that school. They had nothing to do with the shooting and don't need reporters around harassing high school age students," commented an X user.
"Good for him. Protecting the children in those buildings. We need more of that," added another.
"Duh. You're bringing unnecessary and unwanted drama to a school campus populated by literal minors and their reasonably protective parents and caretakers," posted another.

Meanwhile, others called the channel "weird" for disregarding the kids and expecting the public to side with them.

"you're pretty weird for doing this in front of a school with kids. go home loser. of course you're going to be met with hostility there," a user replied on X.
"You pulled up to a building full of children to report on a murder that had absolutely nothing to do with them, and you thought the public would be on your side?" added another netzen.
"That wasn't hostility. Nuisance is more accurate," a user commented on X.

Luigi Mangione was captured at a McDonald's in Pennsylvania

The video of live reporting from outside Luigi Mangione's school comes after the 26-year-old was arrested in Pennsylvania yesterday. CNN reported that Mangione was at a McDonald's outlet on East Plank Road off Interstate 99 when he was arrested, where he sat alone at a table with a backpack and his laptop opened.

Officers found Luigi at the outlet after a customer alerted the store's staff about him, who then called the police authorities. The 26-year-old was wearing a brown beanie, a medical mask, and a dark-colored jacket in an attempt to allegedly disguise himself, eating what appeared to be a hash brown.

Per the news outlet, Mangione offered the officers his real name when he was being investigated at the police station. Officers reportedly found a "black 3D printed pistol and silencer" with a loaded Glock magazine in Luigi's backpack.

According to the police officers who arrested Mangione, he had reportedly been in Pennsylvania for the last few days.

Jessica Tisch, the NYPD commissioner, said that "a combination of old-school detective work and new-age technology" led to Luigi Mangione's capture. Tisch also shared the suspect was reportedly carrying a handwritten document in his backpack, which was described as his "manifesto," and spoke about both his motivation and mindset behind the shooting of Brian Thompson.

A line from the document reportedly read:

"These parasites had it coming... I do apologize for any strife and trauma, but it had to be done."

Per CNN, the document indicated that Luigi Mangione had allegedly acted alone and appeared to be self-fueled to commit the shooting. In it, Mangione reportedly described United Healthcare as one of the largest companies by market capitalization in the US. However, there was no specific mention of Brian Thompson.

The assessment of Luigi Mangione's 3-paged manifesto reportedly reads:

"He appeared to view the targeted killing of the company’s highest-ranking representative as a symbolic takedown and a direct challenge to its alleged corruption and 'power games,' asserting in his note he is the 'first to face it with such brutal honesty'."

Josh Shapiro, the governor of Pennsylvania, told CNN that after the Manhattan shooting on December 4, Mangione traveled between Pittsburg and Philadelphia for six days before being captured on December 10.

Following Luigi Mangione's arrest, New York prosecutors have charged him with two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, one count of second-degree possession of a forged document, and one count of third-degree criminal possession of a firearm.
