In an exclusive interview with CBS Mornings, rap icon Jay-Z, got down to settle the debate his fans have been having for years. Take $500,000 or have lunch with Jay-Z. Gayle King continued to quote some fans who'd take the lunch since the wisdom that they could get from him would be so much more beneficial.

During the Book of HOV exhibit tour, interviewer of CBS Mornings, Gayle King asked the rap-icon if he would take the money, to which he replied;
"Yes because you got all that in the music before for $10.99, that's a bad deal, I wouldn't tell you to cut a bad deal."
He also continued to say;
"Take the $500,000 USD, go buy some albums, and listen to the albums. It's all there if you piece it together and really listen to the music for the words, for what it is — it's all there. Everything that I said was gonna happen, happened."
