Cardi B took to Instagram to extend support to presidential candidate Kamala Harris, following fellow candidate Donald Trump’s U.S. Presidential Elections victory. The singer had publicly endorsed the current vice president at her Milwaukee campaign rally. Further, the musician’s social media post comes after Elon Musk called her Harris’ “puppet.”

While going live on Instagram, Cardi B wrote, “I hate yall bad.” She then expressed that she was “f**king sad” and “annoyed.” Speaking about Kamala Harris, the Bodak Yellow singer said:

“As strong as she is, no matter what, I know she’s probably emotional right now. I know there’s probably a lot going on in her mind… I just hope that she knows that no matter what happened tonight, that millions of people are proud of her, I’m proud of her.”

The mother of three then stated that “women all over the world” and “women of color” were proud of her. Cardi B also expressed that she did not wish to vote for any of the presidential candidates at the beginning of this year until Harris “changed my [her] mind.” Cardi B further added:

“She woke this nation up. I feel like there was a lot of things that went wrong last year. They kept her too much in the background… I know for a fact that she did not have much power last year… They put her in a position to practically save the day this year and she did a lot.”

“We need a Hail Mary”: Cardi B responds to Kamala Harris trailing Donald Trump in elections

As the votes continued to be counted, with the Decision Desk HQ even announcing that the key battleground states were too early to call, Cardi B took to Instagram on November 6 to state:

“We need a Hail Mary.”

She also took to X and said in a quickly deleted video:

“This is why some of y’all states be getting hurricanes.”

The WAP singer was referring to Florida, Texas, North Carolina, and Louisiana calling in favor of Republican candidate Donald Trump. However, the star did not specifically mention the former Potus in the video.

Meanwhile, she had also received immense flack from Elon Musk, who called her Harris’ “puppet.” He took to X on November 3 to share a video of Cardi reading her speech off her phone at the Milwaukee rally when the event’s teleprompter broke.

While at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Cardi B expressed concern for the mental and maternal health of women. She said:

“It’s supporting them and giving them the car they need for what they choose to do with their bodies. If his [Donald Trump] definition of protection is not the freedom of choice, if his definition of protection is making sure our daughters have fewer rights than our mothers, then I don’t want it.”

Further, in response to Musk, the rapper tweeted:

“I’m not a puppet Elon… I’m a daughter of two immigrant parents that had to work their a*s off to provide for me! I’m a product of welfare, I’m a product of section 8, I”m a product of poverty and I’m a product of what happens when the system is set up against you.”

In other news, Donald Trump addressed his supporters at his Mar-a-Lago residence after being elected the 47th president of the United States.
