Former The Bachelor star Nick Viall seemingly dismissed rumors of his wife, Natalie Joy, cheating on him, during his appearance on the Lady Gang podcast. The 42-year-old reality star was on the podcast on Tuesday, June 25, 2024, and discussed how he dealt with negative speculations about his personal life.

He told the co-hosts, Keltie Knight and Becca Tobin, that he actively disconnects from the rumors. Viall went on to say that he was "really good at protecting" his and his family's mental health, adding that he doesn't check the comments on his videos or social media.

Viall explained that, though he enjoys his work, the more he builds his podcast, Viall Files, the less famous he wants to be. He added that he was aware of several rumors about him but actively stays off Reddit and is unaware of whatever people say.

"I’m aware of a ton of rumors about me and I know that I’m unaware of 90 percent more because I don’t read it. I don’t read my own press. I don’t read my comments. I’m not on Reddit – I actively stay off of it – and I’m just unaware of things that people say," he added.

In May 2024, Redditors began speculating that Nick Viall's wife, Natalie Joy, cheated on him after their engagement in January 2023. Rumors escalated after The Bachelor and Perfect Match alum Harry Jowsey left a comment under his Instagram post, calling out Joy's alleged infidelity.

Nick Viall speaks up about why he chooses to ignore rumors about his personal life

Nick Viall, who appeared on the 10th and 11th seasons of The Bachelorette, married his girlfriend Natalie Joy in April 2024. He reportedly met Joy in 2020 after she messaged him on Instagram. The reality star and the model/surgical technician began dating in July 2020, keeping their relationship a secret until January 2021.

Vial proposed to Natalie in January 2023, and the two welcomed their daughter, River Rose Viall, in February 2024, a few months before their marriage.

He appeared on the Lady Gang podcast on June 25, 2024, and addressed the rumors about his wife that were making their way online. He said that the negative comments were part of the line he had chosen, stating that he likes "being successful," adding that this was the lane he had chosen.

He admitted to having "moments of weakness" and giving in to the rumors but noted that, at the end of the day, he doesn't think it's worth it to engage in the drama.

"When something happens, you’re just terrified of what people might be saying. And then two days go by and people move on. You’re like: ‘If I had just not ever been made aware about this, I wouldn’t have been stressed for two or three days. And that’s what keeps me off," Nick Viall explained.

One of the podcast hosts, Keltie Knight, asked him about whether the rumors affected Natalie Joy, especially since she began co-hosting Viall Files with him. Nick Viall said that his wife has "gotten much better" at dealing with the rumors. He added that one could "never have thick enough skin to handle whatever rumors are" being circulated.

The Bachelor alum also reiterated that he actively stays "unaware of things people say" about him.

Both Nick Viall and Natalie Joy have shared social media posts about their family lives, despite the rumors about the latter's infidelity making their rounds. Additionally, Natalie hasn't directly addressed the rumors, but she did state that women never got the benefit of the doubt during a recent episode of The Viall Files.

"And it’s like, ‘Shame, shame, shame, shame, shame,' on women. But, like, men, it’s like, 'They’re men,' like, 'Men will be men'," Natalie said.
