Dietician Maye Musk, who is also Tesla CEO Elon Musk's mother recently took to X on Friday, December 6. Maye responded to a previous tweet that Elon uploaded a day before. In Elon's tweet, he shared his thoughts about declining birthrate.

He tweeted:

"People have been brainwashed into civilizational suicide."

The remark by Elon Musk was in response to another tweet shared by a user with the username (@IterIntellectus). The user wrote that the reason behind reduced birth rate was not financial and more cultural in nature. They claimed that the society had apparently instilled the idea of parenthood being a burden in young people.

Soon, Maye Musk entered the conversation and put forth her views. According to Maye, having a child could be the "greatest gift" in someone's life. She went on to give insights about the time when Elon and his siblings were born. The tweet read:

"When Elon was born, we were in a small two bedroom apartment overlooking a garage. When Kimbal was born, we moved to a two bedroom apartment with a view. When Tosca was born, we moved to a two bedroom house. All in the same area."

Maye added that with her former husband's professional improvements, they evolved into better lifestyles. Addressing children as the "greatest joy" in life, Maye Musk added:

"I never felt like I was sacrificing anything."

The dietician then stated that while her career was put on hold temporarily, when she had her babies, she found it worthwhile. In the end, Maye suggested that people have babies.
