Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jennifer Aydin received a curt response from a Jersey Mike’s Sub employee on Wednesday, January 2. This comes after the former attained backlash for criticizing the restaurant chain’s airport staff in an Instagram video. Aydin has not responded to the employee’s statement at the time of writing this article.
TikTok user amxndaa.x took to the video-sharing platform, wearing the restaurant’s uniform, and appeared to be in an airport bathroom. In the video uploaded online, she said:
“I really hope this stupid b***h has TikTok. I really hope I come up on your ‘for you’ page, b**ch. I hope you recognize me.”
Her video comes after Jennifer Aydin took to Instagram to criticize Jersey Mike’s Sub airport employees for refusing to complete her order and taking too long to make the sub sandwiches.
In response to the same, the TikTok user explained:
“It’s not even 12... hours into the new year OK? It was approximately like 7 in the... morning.”
The TikToker claimed that Aydin was “changing the bread last minute,” and also made several other changes to her order, subsequently leading to the restaurant employee asking her to go back in line as she was holding up the queue. The TikTok user explained:
“[She was] like- ‘oh, and can I also get this? Like, girl, that’s not how that works.”

The 47-year-old took to Instagram on January 1 to claim that she was waiting “forever” in line at an airport’s Jersey Mike’s Sub branch. She then claimed that the restaurant staff, whom she sarcastically referred to as an “80-year-old,” was taking too long to make the sandwiches.
“We get it. It’s early in the morning. You’re in a bad mood. It’s New Year’s, you’re working. I’d be pissed too,” Jennifer Aydin said.
Jennifer Aydin then stated that the employee did not let her add another sandwich to her order.
"As she's making my sandwich, I added a tuna sandwich for Jacob, and she's like, 'You're gonna have to wait [in] line again.' And I was like, 'Are you kidding me?'" she explained.
As the lengthy Instagram video continued, Aydin revealed that another customer called her “ridiculous” for wanting to add another sandwich to her order. She then shared a video of the customer seemingly threatening to sue her for wearing “fake diamonds.” In response to the same, Aydin was heard telling the customer:
“My husband’s a medical doctor, OK? A*shole. And all my sh*t is real. I am a f**king celebrity, you a*shole!”
Jennifer Aydin is married to Bill Aydin, an Istanbul, Turkey-based, double-certified plastic surgeon and reconstructive surgeon. The couple are parents to five children.
Aydin and other cast members of RHONJ are currently on a hiatus, as Bravo and Andy Cohen decide whether the show will return with a new cast. The current cast includes Melissa Gorga, Rachel Fuda, Danielle Cabral, Dolores Catania, Margaret Josephs, and Teresa Giudice.
The restaurant chain itself has not publicly responded to the incident at the time of writing this article.
