"In a world full of Zachary Levi’s, be a Dave Bautista" — Internet reacts to actors endorsing Trump and Kamala Harris respectively

Amid the campaigning and preparations for the upcoming Presidential elections, several celebrities including actors like Zachary Levi and Dave Bautista have endorsed their preferred candidates.

Shazam! star Zachary Levi has endorsed Republican candidate Donald Trump, after his first choice Robert F Kennedy Jr. decided to exit the race last month. On Saturday, September 28, 2024, Levi appeared during a rally for Trump in Michigan and gave a speech to support the former President.

Meanwhile, Dave Bautista shared posts on Instagram and X, where he was seen wearing a t-shirt that read "Harris Walz," seemingly endorsing Kamala Harris. In the tweet he wrote:

"Made my freedom heard. Voting early took me 20 mins—no excuses. Freedom isn’t something we just talk about; it’s something we act on..."

Among several celebrities who had openly picked sides for the upcoming Presidential elections, Zachary has also become one of them. While his first preference was independent candidate Robert F Kennedy Jr., he chose Donald Trump after Kennedy Jr. opted out of the race.

During the Michigan rally, Zachary gave a speech which became viral. He spoke about growing up in a family where his parents reportedly were "Kennedy Democrats that then turned into Reagan Republicans." He added that they had taught him to have a healthy amount of trust and distrust in the government. He said:

"And for a long time, I was like, 'Man, I really want to find a politician that represents all of the things that I want and I want to see in a presidential candidate.'"

Zachary further continued that this was when he realised that Robert Kennedy Jr. was his ideal choice. The actor then spoke about his decision to endorse Trump, after Kennedy Jr. exited. He said:

"We’re here to make sure that we are going to take back this country... And so, I stand with Bobby, and I stand with Tulsi, and I stand with everyone else who is standing with President Trump."

The Independent reported that Kennedy Jr. opted out of the Presidential race last month, and then endorsed Republican candidate Donald Trump.
