Yes, Lil Uzi Vert on October 23, revealed that they plan to retire from rap. During the Pink Tape tour stop in Chicago, Illinois, the rapper announced:

“I came to this conclusion not too long ago. I was gonna wait ’til later to say it, but, you know, I’m dropping Luv Is Rage 3. And Luv Is Rage 3 will be my last album.”

Uzi's announcement was met with moans of disapproval from the audience, to which he responded and said:

“Relax. It’s okay. After Luv Is Rage 3, I guess I will go on another tour. But after that, I wanna try to live a normal life.”

Following the announcement, numerous fans promptly pointed out that the rapper had made similar declarations in the past without following through. Back on November 13, 2020, the rapper tweeted with a peace sign, earth, and UFO emojis about retiring. However, they deleted the post shortly. The 2020 announcement was made just hours before his joint mixtape with Future, Pluto x Baby Pluto.

It is clear that the Internet doesn't know what to believe, while some wish it is just another of Lil Uzi Vert's announcements that won't be taken seriously by them, others want Uzi to retire.
