Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood star Moniece Slaughter is facing online criticism over her recent Instagram story about GloRilla. On Wednesday, January 1, 2025, Slaughter took to the platform to call out the rapper, writing:
"Just in case you need clarity. One of my esters sent this to me lol. The date on that is TWENTY TWENTY BRO! I told ya'll! Ya'll love to downplay me but I be telling ya'll these b*****s is my sons!"
For the unversed, the pair famously beefed in December 2022 on IG, which ended in Glo blocking the reality TV star. The latter later accused Glo of getting her Instagram account deleted.
As Moniece Slaughter's update went viral, internet users were quick to react. One commented:
"Leave delusion in 2024."
Many expressed confusion at the Slaughter's statement and even questioned why she brought up an incident from years ago. Here are some comments seen on Instagram:
Others suggested that GloRilla could have simply liked the photo because it was a good one without any serious thought. One even added Slaughter needed to stop getting validation from social media.
Moniece Slaughter called out GloRilla for bullying her
Moniece Slaughter is a reality TV star best known for her appearance on VH1's Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood. According to Famous Birthdays, hailing from Los Angeles, Slaughter grew up in a musical family. She previously wrote songs for Marques Houston and Akon. Per the website, she sang the theme song for America's Next Top Model.
Slaughter engaged in an online spat with rapper GloRilla over the former's comments about a post addressing Glo's feud with producer Hitkidd in October 2022. According to Blavity News, Hitkidd accused GloRilla and her label, CMG Records, of going behind his back to secure the rights to his track, F.N.F. (Let’s Go). The rapper, for her part, claimed Hitkidd made money off the song.
Amid their beef, Moniece Slaughter commented on a @theneighborhoodtalk post addressing the pair. According to TMZ, offended by the comment, Glo sent a DM to her to call her out. The rapper even remarked Slaughter should be worried about not having sole custody of her son (with Lil Fizz).
Per the publication, soon after the exchange, GloRilla blocked Moniece Slaughter. Sometime later, the latter was kicked off her Instagram page, and she received a letter from META explaining her account was suspended due to cyberbullying a user in DMs.
The reality TV star later jumped to Twitter to voice her frustration. Quoting Slaughter's post (since deleted), TMZ wrote:
"How you gon bully me. Literally! Talk about my child. Then report my ig and have it disabled. You on of the biggest 'rappers,' to do it, right? So why was my public comment on a public post that bigger song writers with verified badges also commented on, the one that mad u mad?"
She even mockingly called GloRilla, "NoRilla." Glo didn't address the controversy further.
The rapper has not publicly commented on Moniece Slaughter's recent Instagram story.
