On Saturday, October 14, BTS’ V hosted his debut solo fanmeeting. ARMYs who were in attendance received a special surprise: a Yeontan-themed cookie box. The 28-year-old BTS member held his debut solo fanmeeting titled (V)ICNIC at Kyunghee University, his first major activity since successfully concluding the promotions for his solo album Layover.

As an expression of gratitude to the ARMYs attending his fanmeeting, BTS’ V curated a tin box with assorted Yeontan-themed cookies and cupcakes. The scrumptious cookies featured the adorable dog's photos, proving their long-lasting bond and companionship.

One of the cupcakes reads, “For Army”, and another features a bear holding a purple heart, signifying that it's BTS’ V, who is lovingly called bear amongst ARMYs.

An ARMY @taebearrr888 lauded the Singularity singer for his painstaking efforts in including Yeontan in his first ever fanmeeting and the details on it.

BTS’ V’s fans praise him for including Yeontan in his first-ever solo fanmeeting

BTS’ V’s fans applauded the Rainy Days singer for including Yeontan in his first fanmeeting in such a sweet and wholesome manner. When the Singularity singer announced his debut solo album Layover, he revealed he was dedicating the album to Yeontan, his pet dog and companion for almost half a decade now, and was releasing it on the dog's birthday.

In addition, the BTS member also released official merchandise in Yeontan's name and revealed he would dedicate the first copy of Layover to his beloved pet dog.

Although Yeontan wasn't present at the fanmeeting, the Love Me Again singer ensured ARMYs didn't miss his pet dog as he gifted fans a cookie box full of Yeontan-themed cookies and cupcakes and also sported official Yeontan merchandise from Layover's collection. The tin box also included yakgwa cookies, which are the trending dessert in South Korea at the moment.

Each cookie box included an exclusive photocard, a special message, and a ticket to the fanmeeting.

Additional gifts by BTS’ V included a photocard of him and Yeontan and raincoats for ARMYs as the meeting took place in an outdoor setting.

ARMYs also noticed both Jimin and V sporting t-shirts with Yeontan's photo on them, which spoke volumes about their friendship and camaraderie. Fans also joked that this is more of Yeontan's solo fanmeeting and were hopeful that the Slow Dancing crooner would surprise fans with Yeontan's special entry.

However, it is believed that due to the pup's poor health, he isn't allowed in outdoor spaces for long.

BTS’ V joked that it was Jimin who abandoned Yeontan in Blue MV

ARMYs were surprised to see Jimin make a special appearance at V's fanmeeting to support his fellow 95-liner best friend. Fans were happy to witness VMIN, a portmanteau of their names. At one point, the Rainy Days singer spoke about his song Blue and the making of it.

For those unfamiliar, in the Blue music video it is shown that Yeontan has been abandoned by his previous owner, and the 28-year-old BTS member spots him and decides to adopt him, marking a new beginning in their long-lasting friendship and companionship.

BTS member V joked that Jimin had originally abandoned Yeontan, earning chuckles and laughter from ARMYs present at the fanmeeting. Jimin hilariously scoffed off V's claims as the two showcased their solid friendship of a decade.

Additionally, VMIN also suggested that they are working on a brand new song together, but the veracity of this cannot be confirmed until there is no official announcement.

In other news, Layover clocked 500 million streams on Spotify marking a new professional high for the BTS member.
