Mattel has left the masses excited after they unveiled the all-new Monster High Skullector Dolls. The new release is a part of the next Skullector Dolls release, which will have two dolls in the set, Jack and Sally. The dolls will be up for sale after October 27, as the company expects people to buy the Monster High dolls for Halloween.
The characters, Jack and Sally, are 12 and 10.5 inches, respectively. While Jack dons a tuxedo with a bat bow tie and boots, Sally’s dress is all patchwork, with heeled boots. Mattel has also accessorized the Monster High dolls with bags and Sally’s hairband.
The Monster High dolls retail for $90 and can be ordered from the Mattel website after October 27, 2023, at 12 pm. As per the Matter website, the packaging of the Monster High dolls also includes movie details and a special slip-cover sleeve with hidden Easter eggs. The website states:
“Inspired by Halloween Town, we’re bringing you the latest Monster High Skullector dolls – Jack Skellington and Sally from Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas. This hauntingly lovable duo features premium fabrics with signature iconic details and special Easter eggs that make them oh-so-undead. We even designed the packaging to celebrate this iconic film with fun callbacks from the film."
"Will be purchasing": Netizens react as The Monster High dolls pay homage to Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas
Tim Burton’s popular Halloween movie, The Nightmare Before Christmas, completes 30 years in 2023, as the movie was released in 1993. While the makers have made it clear that the animated musical dark fantasy film will have no sequel, the movie’s collaboration with Mattel and launch of the Monster High dolls have left the masses ecstatic.
The dolls have been created with absolute precision, as Sally even has her iconic stitch marks, with long red hair, to make it more realistic. As Mattel announced the same on X (formerly Twitter), and many other users like @DollBoy29 reposted it, netizens filled the comments section.
Under the direction of Henry Selick, The Nightmare Before Christmas starred Chris Sarandon, lending his voice to the character of Jack Skellington, the ruler of Halloween Town. Jack's whimsical journey leads him to stumble upon Christmas Town, which makes up the whole plot of the movie.
