"No shout out?": The Voice fans slam coaches for not crediting Vicki Lawrence after Grace West's performance

The Voice season 23 aired a new episode on Monday, May 22, 2023, at 8 pm ET on NBC. It documented the top finalists participating in a brand new challenge just ahead of the grand finale. They delivered some of their best performances in front of the coaches hoping to impress viewers and gather enough votes to win the coveted title.On this week's episode of The Voice, Grace West performed The Nights the Light Went Out in Georgia, which was originally recorded by Vicki Lawrence in 1972, and went on to rank No 1 on Billboard Hot 100. It was later covered by country idol Reba McEntire as part of her album in 1991, which ranked No. 12 on Country Idol Songs chart.Fans, however, pointed out that the coaches only credited Reba in their performance and not Vicki. They slammed the judges for not giving the original singer a shoutout.
