Recently, Hollywood actor and comedian Jamie Foxx made headlines after stating that he is done dating white women following his recovery from a stroke. On December 11, 2024, during his Netflix special What Had Happened Was..., Jamie Foxx addressed his 2023 medical emergency, which he described as a stroke caused by a brain bleed.

According to a report by the New York Post, while reflecting on the incident, Jamie Foxx unexpectedly broke into song and made a surprising statement regarding his personal life, suggesting that he was no longer interested in dating white women.

As a result, his comments have sparked a wide range of reactions across the internet, with many expressing surprise, confusion, and frustration on X.

"Not racist at all 🙄," one commented.

Moreover, several users on X sarcastically commented that Foxx's comments might be allegedly attributed to the lingering effects of his stroke, suggesting it may have impacted his thought process. Others expressed their discontent, with some even stating they were withdrawing their support for Black public figures as a result.

"I guess stroke symptoms affect everyone differently," a user on X commented.
"What a coincidence. I had an enema, and I'm done supporting black actors. Amazing how the body, and mind works," one more commented.
"Great - we agree with you," a third commented.

However, a segment of users voiced frustration over Foxx's remarks, arguing that it was unprofessional to generalize an entire race based on a single negative experience with one individual.

"this is very unprofessional just because you had a bad experience on a relationship doesn't mean you have to blame the whole white race for that," a netizen commented.
"Goin back to ghetto snapper," another commented.
"He was just with a white woman the other day," one more on X.

Jamie Foxx has not responded to the reactions online or provided further details regarding his comments.

On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, during his Netflix special, What Had Happened Was..., Jamie Foxx disclosed that he is no longer interested in dating white women. The actor's statement followed his 2023 health crisis, where he experienced a stroke caused by a brain bleed.

According to AOL, Foxx has a notable history of relationships with white women. His first known partner was U.S. Air Force veteran Connie Kline, whom he dated in 1993. The two share a daughter, Corinne, born on February 15, 1994.

While the timeline of their breakup remains unclear, Jamie Foxx and Kline have since co-parented their daughter. In a 2021 interview with E! Online, Foxx reflected on his relationship with Corinne.

"Growing up, Corinne was like, 'Well, people are married, and that's what they have, my friends," Foxx said.

Following his relationship with Kline, Foxx dated actress Leila Arcieri, whom he brought as his date to the Golden Globes in 2005.

At the event, Jamie Foxx introduced Arcieri as his partner, stating that she was there when he was trying to get from point A to point B." Despite this public acknowledgment, the relationship ended later that year for reasons that remain unknown.

"I know she digs me because she was there when I was just trying to figure out how to get from point A to point B," Foxx said.

Per AOL, Foxx's longest and most prominent relationship with a white woman was with actress Katie Holmes. The pair were romantically linked from 2013 to 2019, although they never officially confirmed their relationship.

The stroke in question occurred in April 2023. At the time, Jamie Foxx chose not to disclose specific details about his condition. However, during his recent Netflix special, Foxx revealed that he had suffered a medical emergency and expressed gratitude for being alive.

He noted that the exact circumstances of the incident remain unclear but emphasized his appreciation for the prayers and support he received, according to Healthline.

"I was fighting for my life. It is a mystery. We still don't know exactly what happened to me. All I can tell you is that I appreciate every prayer because I needed every prayer," Foxx said.

According to Healthline, brain bleeding, clinically referred to as a hemorrhagic stroke, is a serious and potentially life-threatening medical condition. However, Jamie Foxx has not officially confirmed this diagnosis.

Additionally, Foxx did not clarify the connection between his stroke and his decision to no longer date white women.
