YouTube channel Funny Or Die shared a parody trailer of Rush Hour 4: Face/Off 2 featuring Byung-Hun Lee and Sean “Diddy” Combs in 2015. The same has resurfaced online in light of the rapper facing legal challenges related to s*x trafficking and racketeering allegation charges. Consequently, social media users have revisited the trailer and shared their reactions.
The trailer showed Diddy playing the iconic character of “Carter” with Lee playing the character of “Lee” instead of the longtime stars Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan. A background voice can be heard in the Rush Hour 4 trailer:
“Detective Carter plays by his own rules… Detective Lee is a master from the East and they got to team up in Rush Hour 4.”
In the trailer, the two performers exchange their faces and voices, leading to some hilarious situations. The background voice further says:
“This mismatched duo has to overcome their differences… and walk a mile in each other’s faces.”
Despite the trailer looking realistic, it is important to note that such a movie does not exist at the time of writing this article, and it is not likely to be released in the future. The YouTube channel itself clarified that it was simply a “parody trailer” in the description section of the video.
Although the trailer was released years ago, it is going viral online yet again, with one netizen commenting:
