Candace Owens and Mikhaila Peterson have engaged in the ongoing online dialogue on X regarding immigration and H-1B visas in the US. The conversation began after Indian-born Sriram Krishnan was appointed as president-elect Donald Trump's AI policy advisor on December 22.

Following this appointment, several MAGA supporters launched an alleged anti-Indian campaign targeting Krishnan after discovering his positive stance on removing caps on green cards. On December 28, Mikhaila Peterson, a Canadian native now residing in the US, entered the conversation, condemning MAGA supporters for their alleged overt racism.

In one of her posts on X, she questioned why the right pretended to oppose illegal immigration when the recent dialogue suggested they didn't support immigration as a whole. Illegal immigration had been a major talking point in Trump's presidential campaign.

When someone told her to go back to Canada, Peterson replied:

"I had relatives come from Ireland, Germany, and Norway to America before the 1900’s. Then some moved to Canada where I was born. They were treated exactly how people are now talking about Indians. America is a mixing pot. Have fun with your overt racism though."

This post prompted Candace Owens to question Peterson about her visa status, asking:

"Out of curiosity, what visa are you here on?"

As of the time of this article, Mikhaila Peterson has yet to respond to Owens' question.

Where does Mikhaila Peterson live currently?

As a native Canadian, Mikhaila Peterson requires a visa to live indefinitely in the US, according to the US immigration policy with Canada. She is married to Jordan Fuller, an American, and her second child was also born in the US. According to a Facebook post, Peterson moved from Canada to Nashville in October 2021. She is currently residing in Arizona with her family.

Mikhaila Peterson, the daughter of Canadian psychologist Jordan Peterson, is the co-founder of Peterson Academy. According to her website, the academy, which started in September 2024, is "an online education platform created to make education ideology-free, accessible, and affordable to all."

Peterson also hosts her podcast, The Mikhaila Peterson Podcast, where she interviews experts in business, politics, health, and other topics.

According to the website, the mother of two is also the founder of the "Lion Diet," described as a "plant-free, ruminant-meat-based, ketogenic elimination diet." She reportedly formulated this diet for her health conditions after battling severe juvenile idiopathic arthritis, idiopathic hypersomnia, and depression since childhood.

In other news, Mikhaila Peterson is one of the many who have become involved in the ongoing discussion about H-1B visas on X. Many big tech leaders, like Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk, have also participated in this online dialogue, drawing outrage from MAGA supporters after advocating for leniency in the visa process.

Both men claimed that America lacked talented and motivated engineers who could help boost the country's economy. In his lengthy post, Ramaswamy blamed the American culture for "venerating" mediocrity, citing several pop culture shows that he believed praised "mediocrity over excellence."

Meanwhile, President-elect Donald Trump sided with Elon Musk regarding H-1B visas, stating he has "always been in favor of visas" in an exclusive phone interview with The New York Post published on December 28.
