Euphoria star Barbie Ferreira recently shared a selfie where she looked quite slimmer. She could be seen wearing a black casual top with loose denims on the social media post. The photo was seemingly clicked in the dressing room on the set of her current project. What caught netizens' attention was the transformation of the actress.

A user (@kirawontmiss) shared the transformation photos on X, and the tweet became extremely popular. It already received more than 8.2 million views as well as over 100k likes.

Netizens flooded the social media platforms with their take on the transformation. While some believed that Barbie Ferreira had been consuming Ozempic, others claimed that it didn't necessarily have to be the weight loss drug. An X user (@Bradley_1999) wrote:

Barbie Ferreira never confirmed that she was on Ozempic

This wasn't the first time that Barbie Ferreira got scrutinized on the internet after netizens claimed that she had been using Ozempic for losing weight. In July 2024, she shared a photo on social media wearing a brown dress where she looked skimmer and fitter than usual.

She was, however, soon bombarded with questions and speculations by netizens claiming that she had been consuming the drug. The actress, however, has never confirmed about being on Ozempic.

Barbie Ferreira had become a popular face after playing the character of Kat Hernandez in Euphoria, a show that she eventually left. In August 2022, the 27-year-old actress announced leaving the show and not being a part of the third season.

Speaking about the same in April 2023, Barbie told Vanity Fair that she didn't want to be restricted to being the "fat best friend." She spoke about her character Kat and said:

"I think there were places she could have gone. I just don’t think it would have fit into the show. I don’t know if it was going to do her justice, and I think both parties knew that I really wanted to be able to not be the fat best friend. I don’t want to play that, and I think they didn’t want that either."

As for the transformation photos, they have taken the internet by storm. Using Ozempic is not unusual in the industry. Several celebrities who have accepted using this drug include Fat Joe, Kandi Burruss, and Amy Schumer.
