After one of the DJs at the Disney-themed concert performed in front of pictures of Luigi Mangione, the event went viral. The audience also applauded when pictures of Mangione appeared on the screen during a scene in Hannah Montana's He Could Be the One. The DJ then remarked:

“You gotta give the people what they want,”.

Since then, Bop to the Top has shared the video on social media to advertise their upcoming tour dates. While promoting this particular event, they wrote a caption that read:

“Disney Channel Night x Luigi coming to your city this holiday season!!”

The Disney event happened after Mangione was taken into custody due to the alleged murder. Following the arrest, police found that he allegedly had a U.S. passport, four fake identification cards, a ghost gun with a silencer, and a scribbled manifesto that included quotes from Ted Kaczynski's Unabomber.

Following this, Luigi Mangione was initially charged locally with using false identities and illegally carrying guns. Additionally, he was later charged with second-degree murder and other allegations by New York officials.

Then, that same day, Mangione appeared in court with a lawyer. Meanwhile, as per Reuters’ December 12 report, GoFundMe, the online fundraiser, received tons of donations for Luigi Mangione’s legal defense after his arrest, along with encouraging comments.

According to Newsweek’s December 13 report, the fundraiser has raised over $75,000. The description of the fundraiser reads:

“We are not here to celebrate violence, but we do believe in the constitutional right of fair legal representation.”

Nevertheless, on December 14, the platform removed Luigi Mangione's fundraiser, as fundraising for the legal defense of violent crimes is prohibited by GoFundMe's terms of service. However, after that, another platform, GiveSendGo picked it up.

Meanwhile, Luigi Mangione was refused bail and is now being imprisoned at Huntingdon State Correctional Institution. On the other hand, the concert authorities haven’t said anything yet. However, it should be noted that Disney has no connection with the event, hence, the company has kept mum about the whole thing.
