Donald Trump introduced his own guitar merchandise on November 20. The president-elect revealed on Truth Social that the instruments would be limited only to 1,300 acoustics and electrics. Netizens have since taken to X to opine that the items were made in China, although the manufacturers are not known yet.
The guitars boast the “Make America Great Again” phrase inlaid in “authentic pearl” at the neck of the guitar. The instrument also has the number “45” written on the headstock, in reference to him being the 45th president. Images of the American flag and a bald eagle were also featured on the items.
Some of the guitars are autographed by Trump, with those costing $10,000. Others range from $1,250 to $1,500. The Presidential Series guitar that comes in three different colors, including red, yellow, and black, is priced at $2,000.
X user @ArtCandee took to the social networking site on November 21 to tweet, “Are Donald Trump’s new “Trump Guitars” made in China too? SMH.” Several other platform users took to the platform to discuss the same with one person tweeting:
Several others took to X to seemingly diss the Republican and also discuss where the instrument was made. Comments online read:
“JFC. More f**king grifting. He might as well enjoy it because his supporters are about to be poor,” an X user said.
“Temu,” another platform user commented.
“Trying to sell them before his tariffs kick in,” a netizen said.
The presidential elect has dabbled in merchandise in the past as well, with him putting his name on his own rendition of the Bible titled God Save America for $60, $399 gold high-top shoes, “MAGADonald” t-shirts, and more. Meanwhile, other reactions read:

The official Get Trump Guitars website revealed that it would take up to six months to have the instruments delivered. Meanwhile, other reactions read:

The official website’s FAQ revealed that the Trump guitars were were:
“Custom designed and developed by a Veteran owned company with the help of a master luthier. These guitars have been manufactured by multiple providers and include parts/ features that are both domestic and international. This is standard with most guitar manufacturers.”
Hence, the exact makers of the merchandise remain unknown at the time of writing this article.
