Reality TV star Chrisean Rock recently professed her love for Blueface. Rock took to her Instagram stories on Monday, December 30, 2024, to repost a photo of the rapper, with the message:
"Free you I love you Johnathan (blue heart emoji) @bluefasebabyy."
The original post was from Blueface's (a.k.a. Johnathan Jamall Porter) IG account @bluefasebabyy. The pair were in an on-again, off-again relationship from 2020 until 2023. Before their split, Rock announced she was pregnant with the rapper's child (gave birth to Chrisean Jeasus Malone Jr. in September 2023).
As Chrisean Rock's Instagram story went viral, internet users were quick to react at the couple potentially reuniting. One wrote:
"Please don't bring them into 2025."
Many hoped that the duo kept their relationship private, one even calling it "toxic." Here are some comments seen under @theshaderoom's post on Instagram:
Others claimed it was allegedly done as a publicity gimmick.
Blueface has been in prison since January 2024
In 2024, both Blueface and Chrisean Rock got into trouble with the law. The Thotina rapper has been in prison since January 2024. His trouble began in November 2022 when Las Vegas authorities arrested him in connection with a shooting at a local strip club. Porter faced charges of attempted murder and shooting a firearm.
According to a February 2024 article by 8 NewsNow, following a trial, Judge Kathleen Delaney sentenced him to three years of probation, which, if violated, Blueface could be locked up for two to five years.
After finding a video of the rapper asking his then-fiancée (Jaidyn Alexis) to allegedly fight a fan at one of his shows, Judge Delaney issued a bench warrant in February 2024 (he violated the terms of probation).
In July, Porter was granted a three-year probation (with his two-to-five-year sentence suspended). Additionally, the rapper had to serve thirty days in prison, credited to time served.
However, he remained imprisoned for violating the terms of his probation in a separate case. In 2021, Blueface assaulted a security guard outside a nightclub in Los Angeles. Eventually, the rapper was given a four-year sentence (August 2024).
In October, Porter took to his Instagram stories to claim he would be out of prison by July 2025. It remains unclear if he would be released in 2025, but his manager Wack 100 told blogger @TheDonatShow (August 2024) that he would be "home in 9-10 months."
Police arrested Chrisean Rock in June 2024 outside a court (when she attended Blueface's hearing) in connection to drug-related charges in Oklahoma. According to Hot97's September report, an Oklahoma judge initially sentenced Rock in regards to her arrest in February 2022, to four years of probation and 120 hours of community service (to be completed by September 2023).
However, after failing to complete her community service, a warrant for her arrest was issued. According to a report by HipHop DX, while she was eventually released in September 2024, she is yet to be charged in the case.
Neither Chrisean Rock nor Blueface (or their representatives) has publicly commented on the development.
