Robert F. Kennedy Jr., also known as RFK Jr., concluded his final campaign day with an intense series of rallies and media appearances. However, an unexpected story began making headlines and sparking conversations online.
On November 5, 2024, AP News reported that New Jersey authorities had found the butchered remains of a dolphin on the beach. Users on the social media platform X are speculating that the recent butchering of a dolphin may be linked to RFK Jr., referencing past accusations involving him in similar incidents.
According to the August 2024 report by The Guardian, Kennedy was allegedly involved in an incident where a whale's head was chainsawed and consumed.
As a result, this led to a wave of public reaction across social media platforms, with many indicating that RFK Jr did it —
"RFK Jr closes out his final day of campaigning," one commented.
Many users on X expressed similar sentiments, suggesting that authorities should not pursue further investigation, as they believe a likely suspect has already been identified —
"Stop the investigation… we have a suspect," one user on X.
"Check RFK's cellphone gps," another commented.
"it was clearly RFK... I'd go in that direction," a netizen commented.
"RFK unavailable for comment," one more wrote.
Moreover, some users on X highlighted the 2017 incident involving Chris Christie, the former governor of New Jersey, who was photographed lounging on a closed beach during a state government shutdown in 2017 and suggested that the dolphin incident must be linked with him.
As per The New York Times, the images, which showed Christie and his family alone on an otherwise empty beach while the public was barred due to the shutdown, went viral and sparked widespread criticism and mockery —
"sounds like Chris Christie has gone rogue again... last time they had to close the beaches we were treated to some of the most horrifying images known to man," one commented.
"by any chance is there anyone that's still on the presidential ballot in some states that doesn't have an alibi for this," another on X.
"Probably murdered by the same hit squad that took out Peanut the Squirrel," a third commented.
As of now, neither RFK Jr., Donald Trump, nor any representatives from their respective parties have responded to the online comments or stated the butchered dolphin incident in New Jersey.
Butchered Dolphin on New Jersey beach sparks RFK Jr allegations
On Tuesday, news broke online with disturbing images of a butchered dolphin found on a New Jersey beach. According to NBC News, the dolphin was mutilated in a manner that left only its head and skeletal frame.
The Marine Mammal Stranding Center, a federally authorized organization for the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of marine mammals in New Jersey, confirmed to NBC News that the dolphin's flesh had been entirely removed with a sharp instrument. Only the heart and lungs remained intact.
"The animal's flesh had been completely removed with clean cuts from a sharp instrument, leaving only the head, dorsal fin and flukes. The animal's organs, except for the heart and lungs, had been removed," the statement said.
As per NBC News, The night before the disturbing discovery, a common dolphin was seen struggling in the water just a block away, according to the stranding center.
However, the witnesses reported that the dolphin managed to get over a sandbar and swim back to sea. It's not known if the butchered dolphin found later was the same one, the stranding center reported.
Following this news, RFK Jr.'s name was repeatedly taken due to his disturbing past allegations involving mutilated animals. According to Gizmodo, in July 2024, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was accused of eating a dog, which he denied. Also, in 2024, he admitted to dumping a dead bear cub in Central Park.
However, no evidence links RFK Jr. to the dolphin incident in New Jersey. According to the Marine Mammal Stranding Center, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is also actively investigating the matter.
