Late on October 10, BTS’ RM hosted a surprise Weverse live where he spoke about various topics, including his new silver hair, his relationship status, and missing his fellow Bangtan members. An ARMY simply commented, "We love Bangtan," to which BTS’ RM responded in a rather emotional manner.
BTS’ RM replied by stating that he misses his band members. He revealed that he was tired and devastated sometime last year, in April or May, and just wanted a break from everything. However, looking back, he already misses the happier moments spent with his members.
He also shared that he is working on something exciting, but looking at all the members' solo activities he misses group activities with his bandmates. RM added that he's sad that they can't be "one team right now."
"You know what, I get really really devastated and so tired of all those stuff. Like last year you know around April/May, I always was at times just want to stop everything and take a break but you know life is strange I already really miss all of those things, the team when we work together just you know. I'm actually getting ready for something new, and I am watching all those solo stuff like everyone, but sometimes I just feel really sad that right now we can't be just one team right now, just one movement."
BTS’ RM's fans react to his emotional post about his fellow Bangtan members
BTS’ RM's emotional reaction upon the mention of his fellow Bangtan members made fans emotional as well, and ARMYs reminisced of the ten years gone by and how they are waiting for Bangtan members to complete their mandatory military conscription and reunite as a full group in 2025.
Soon, ARMYs took to X to trend "See You in 2025" with the hope that Bangtan members commence chapter two in a couple of years after fulfilling their national duties.
As of now, BTS' oldest members Jin, SUGA, and J-hope have enlisted in the military and are slated to be discharged from the military on June 12, 2024, June 21, 2025, and October 17, 2024, respectively. According to BIG HIT MUSIC, the enlistment plans of the other remaining Bangtan members—BTS' RM, V, Jungkook, and Jimin—will be disclosed by the end of this year.
BIG HIT MUSIC released a statement:
"We will announce the enlistment plans for the remaining BTS members in sequential order within this year."
Notably, all BTS members have renewed their contracts with BIG HIT MUSIC for the third time and will commence with Chapter Two in 2025 after their military conscription.
BTS’ RM reveals he has no girlfriend on Weverse live
On a lighter note, ARMYs jokingly asked BTS’ RM to introduce his girlfriend to them. The Indigo singer laughed and confessed that he has no girlfriend and asked ARMYs to introduce him to one.
BTS’ RM's comments went viral among fans in no time. While certain ARMYs were happy to see him having a frank and wholesome interaction with fans, the others jokingly volunteered themselves to be his future girlfriend.
Additionally, he also debuted his new bleached hair look and revealed that it is for something special. More details regarding his future activities will be unveiled soon.
