Selling Sunset season 6 recap: Why did Chelsea Lazkani call Bre Tiesi’s baby daddy Nick Cannon a “master manipulator”?

Selling Sunset season 6 aired all 10 episodes on Netflix on Friday, May 19, 2023. Since the first episode, Chelsea Lazkani didn’t seem to enjoy new cast member Bre Tiesi’s company. She questioned Bre’s work experience, career choices, open relationship with Nick Cannon, and her behavior towards Chelsea.

In episode 4, Chelsea mentioned that Bre looked upset when she found out that her baby daddy Nick welcomed a child with model LaNisha Cole. While discussing their complicated open relationship, the British realtor said:

“Maybe he’s a master manipulator. And all of these women have fallen in love with him, and he’s promised them a situation that he can’t keep.”

Bre and Nick had their kid on June 28, 2022, and he had a baby with LaNisha on September 14, 2022. The same year, he has his third child with Brittany Bell on September 23, his second with Abby De La Rosa on November 11, and also with Alyssa Scott on December 12, 2022.

“Off-putting”: Chelsea Lazkani shares opinion on Bre Tiesi and Nick Cannon’s relationship on Selling Sunset

In Selling Sunset season 6 episode 4, Bre Tiesi apologized for her blunt behavior towards Chelsea Lazkani at Heather Rae El Moussa’s birthday dinner. The next morning, Chelsea shared some news with Heather, Amanza Smith, and Nicole Young as they arrived at The Oppenheim Group office.

The British realtor mentioned that things turned sad the other night when she, Bre, and Chrishell decided to party after birthday dinner. Bre saw online that her baby daddy Nick Cannon welcomed a baby girl with LaNisha Cole.

In the first episode of Selling Sunset season 6, Bre explained that she was in an open relationship with Nick Cannon and thus both the parties have freedom to date anyone. Her ideologies didn’t sit well with Chelsea who didn’t take much time to judge the former model.

When Chelsea told the girls about Bre being upset with Nick and LaNisha’s news, the ladies questioned why their co-star was sad when they were in an open relationship. Chelsea guessed that Bre might be upset because the number of children Nick have might affect the time he would spend with her baby.

Giving her opinion on Bre and Nick’s relationship, Chelsea Lazkani said in a confessional:

“I find Nick Cannon and Bre’s relationship rather off-putting. I just think we’re fundamentally so different you know, and ultimately the way I live my life is very different to her, as a Christian, so I don’t know if we will ever be super, super close friends.”

According to Chelsea, Nick manipulated the ladies he went into an open relationship with. She claimed that the Masked Singer host might have promised something to his baby mammas, but failed to keep it. This was why she felt Bre was upset with the news as Nick might have failed to communicate it to her.

While Amanza Smith and Heather Rae El Moussa defended Bre and stated that she was not present to defend her situation at the moment, Chelsea didn’t stop to pass on her judgments.

In her Selling Sunset confessional, she threw shade at Nick once again. Chelsea said:

“I think the proliferation of kids in creating multiple broken homes is disgusting. No amount of time in the day would allow Nick to see those 10 plus babies and give them the love and dedication they need.”
