Shadow and Bone actor Archie Renaux and Annie O'Hara recently announced their engagement after four years of being together.
During the Los Angeles premiere of Alien on August 12, Archie, while speaking to People, said that he popped the question to his girlfriend Annie in 2023. Archie shared that the two "kind of need to get our ducks in a row" before tying the knot.
"We've got a few things to plan and get ready for in this next year," Annie said.
The two share a daughter, Iris, aged 3, who will be going to school in September. The two have kept their relationship private and the exact date of when they first started dating is not known.
Archie Renaux and Annie O'Hara's relationship explored
Archie Renaux and Annie O'Hara have mostly kept their relationship under wraps. As per Distractify, the two began dating in either late 2019 or early 2020.
Both Archie, 26, and Annie, 28 are British.
In September 2022, Archie made his relationship with Annie public by posting pictures of them at the UK premiere of Catherine Called Birdy. Before that, Archie had shared photos of him with his daughter Iris in February 2022.
During an interview with Wonderland in 2022, Archie opened up about managing work and making time for his daughter:
"I get to see everything go full circle as my daughter does things I did as a kid. There is something quite special about it. Things have gotten really busy and I'm very lucky and grateful that I have been working for a lot for most of this year."
He also added that he's trying to balance work and spending time with his family.
Although it's not clear what his fiance Annie O'Hara does for a living, she starred in the Mystert Jets' musical video for Screwdriver.
Archie Renaux started off his career as a model and was featured in Gay Times Magazine, Topman, Nasir Mazhar, Moss Bros., and Men's Fashion Week. He started his career in a short film Market Road as Eddie in 2017.
Archie's acting career took off after he took on the role of Malyen Oretsev in the Netflix series Shadow and Bone. He also caught fan attention for starring alongside Camilla Mendes in Upgraded.
While talking to ET Times about his movie Upgraded, Archie Renaux revealed his favorite rom-coms are About Time, Love Actually, and Notting Hill. Archie mentioned people watch rom-coms to escape the harshness of reality,
"I think it's just because they're a nice easy watch, so you can have a little bit of an escape from reality. It's quite harsh at the moment for most of the world, people are watching rom-coms to kind of help alleviate a bit of that harshness."
Archie is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Alien: Romulus, which is set to hit the theatres on August 16, 2024.
At the recent premiere on August 12, Archie told PEOPLE, that it's "amazing" to be a part of the Aliens movies since his dad is a big fan.
