A video clip of Jennifer Coolidge talking in her real voice at the Golden Globes Award on Sunday, was uploaded to X on Monday, January 6. The clip has since gone viral, amassing over 5.6 million views, 117K likes, and 6K re-tweets.
In the clip, Coolidge was joined by Matt Friend - the Golden Globes correspondent, who passed her a blue bottle containing cold drink, then saying to the camera, "This is Jennifer Coolidge after sipping on cold drink."
Having taken the sip, Matt attempted to mimic Coolidge's response, saying, "Oh God, ugh... it's not bad."
Jennifer appeared to approve of the mimicry, telling him, "It's very good. Yeah, you're right up there with Ariana's."
Many netizens have since reacted to the tweet, with one of them commenting:

Some netizens expressed how they believed the voice Coolidge used for her characters in movies to be her real one.

To achieve her flawless look at the red carpet of Golden Globes, Jennifer Coolidge enlisted Jo Baker - the celebrity makeup artist who has worked with Gal Gadot, Mariah Carey, and Oivia Wilde.
Per a Daily Mail article published on Monday, January 6, Baker revealed that she had used only MCo Beauty products for Coolidge's makeup - a look that could be achieved under $155.
Baker said:
"Since she's wearing a '70s-feel sheer, layered black gown with chunky gold jewellery, I wanted to bring a sense of cool, effortless modern glam feels to this screen icon."

Before heading inside the Golden Globes Award Ceremony, Jennifer Coolidge was joined by her "mystery date," who was later revealed to be actor Tim Badgley.
Per a Just Jared article published on January 5, Coolidge and Badgley have known each other for over two decades and are close friends.
Jennifer also took Badgley to the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards last year, where she won an award for White Lotus.
Tim Badgley has appeared in numerous TV shows over the years, including King of Queens, Monk, and Will & Grace. Most recently, Badgley starred in a miniseries starring Nicole Kidman and Liev Schreiber, titled The Perfect Couple.
