He showed a picture of him and Harris sitting side by side during an interview, in which Harris revealed on national television she had googled him before their first date despite stating otherwise till then.

The video, which received over 522K views and 11K likes at the time of this article, was met with mixed responses. Many wondered if the Google search showed Doug Emhoff being unfaithful to his first wife, Kerstin, with one person tweeting:

Doug Emhoff addressed his affair during his first marriage

On August 3, 2024, Doug Emhoff released a statement addressing speculations of an extramarital affair while he was with his first wife, Kerstin. This came after The Daily Mail reported the second gentleman had an affair with a teacher who worked in his children's school.

"During my first marriage, Kerstin and I went through some tough times on account of my actions. I took responsibility, and in the years since, we worked through things as a family and have come out stronger on the other side," Doug Emhoff said in his statement.

According to CBS News, sources close to the teacher confirmed she became pregnant in 2009 but ended up miscarrying. Other sources also reported that while Doug Emhoff and Kerstin were legally married at the time, they were separated during the affair.

The couple have two children, Ella and Cole, who were enrolled in the same school where the woman worked. However, she reportedly did not teach either child. Kerstin also released a statement addressing the affair on August 3, where she said:
