Tyler Perry opened up on the devastation caused by the Los Angeles wildfires on Sunday, January 12, 2025, and criticized the insurance companies for canceling policies. Sharing a few incidents that he witnessed during the tragic fires, Tyler Perry wrote:
"Watching a daughter use a garden hose to try and protect her 90-year-old parents' home because their insurance was cancelled was just gut-wrenching to me. He then spoke about how “people who have paid premiums all of their lives are left with nothing because of pure greed.” He also stated that he is trying his best to help as many people as he can, and concluded his post by claiming that he has been keeping everyone in his prayers.
