The trailer for Episode 22 of Suchwita, which stars BTS Suga is set to have veteran South Korean singer, actress, and dancer Uhm Jung-hwa as the upcoming guest. The latest teaser of the YouTube talk show was released by BigHit Entertainment (now HYBE) on November 13, 2023, on Weverse and on their official YouTube channel, BANGTANTV.

The mention of her having a unique connection with HYBE's chairman sparked curiosity among fans on the internet and they tweeted on X, "Wait what is this tea that is being spilled, Suga getting all the gossip."

The Life Goes On rapper and composer presents the lighthearted chat program Suchwita, where guests have candid and personal conversations on various topics with the BTS idol over drinks.

The next guest on Suchwita baffled the D-DAY rapper and songwriter along with the fans when she disclosed her surprising relationship with Bang Si-hyuk, the founder of HYBE. Uhm Jung-hwa actually disclosed in the video that she was previously connected to the founder of HYBE through "marriage".

To add context to it, the veteran actress and singer nearly appeared on the popular show We Got Married, as Suga brought the topic up, as seen in the latest teaser of the upcoming episode 22. In the iconic program We Got Married, celebrities would come together and pretend to be married and have to work together to accomplish a variety of missions and activities.

Additionally, Uhm Jung-hwa revealed that she regrets not going on the reality program back then. When enquired further by the Haegeum rapper and songwriter, she responded that if she had gone on the variety show, then she would have been a part of HYBE at the present.

She said,

"It was the first time I met Bang sihyuk. I regret it so much now! I should've done it! If I did maybe I would be a part of this company now."

The teaser of the upcoming episode 22 of Suchwita further showed Easter eggs of what the episode entails. Suga aka Min Yoongi further asked Uhm Jung-hwa if there's a particular songwriter she would like to work with. The veteran singer and actress immediately responded to it by saying that she would prefer to work with Suga and asked him to write a song for her by that evening.

Uhm Jung-hwa's musical debut was in 1993, the same year that Suga was born, as she quips humorously in the preview for the forthcoming episode. This interaction further sent the BTS fandom on a laughing riot as the episode promises to be extremely engaging and hilarious.

Many fans joked about the teaser and tweeted, "Can you imagine if Bang pd had gone on the show how many parodies we would have had from the tannies?" While someone else wrote, "Yoongi cute reaction when he asked Uhm Jung-Hwa who's the songwriter she would like to work with."

Furthermore, the veteran singer and actress Uhm Jung-hwa dominated the charts in the late 1990s and early 2000s. She has influenced many new K-pop stars, including Tiffany from Girls' Generation, BoA, and Sandara Park.
