Many users on X said that Chris Hayes's reaction was the event's highlight, with some expressing their gratitude to Hayes for providing moments of laughter.

"This was the best one yet, with Chris' reaction 💀," a netizen commented.
"Thanks for the laugh...OMG," another wrote.
"It was Chris' reaction at the very end for me 🤣😂💀," a third commented.

Some users on X expressed frustration, suggesting that the former President should prioritize addressing real issues instead of hosting a music session. Conversely, others described the music session as a "banger," appreciating its entertainment value.

"Crazy how they're all watching a musical while their policies are turning everything into a circus. Focus on real issues, not the Trump show," one user wrote.
"We have a German word for the feeling you have while watching this sh*t: FREMDSCHÄMEN. Remember, he's the Republican frontrunner," a netizen commented.
"Snl needs to do a parody of this, and when she asks him if he's ready to do "his song” it turns into a Beychella skit, outfits and all," another netizen wrote.
"Don't forget this banger!" one more on X.

As discussions surrounding the event unfold online, Trump and his team have not yet responded to viewers' reactions and comments.

On Monday, October 14, during a presidential election event at the town hall in Oaks, Pennsylvania, the former President hosted an impromptu musical event. He spent 39 minutes swaying to his favorite songs.

While the event was initially intended to focus on Trump's proposed policies, reports from NBC indicate that the event was temporarily paused due to a medical emergency, prompting Trump to fill the gap with this music session.

When two of the people from the crowd were seeking medical assistance backstage, the former President requested to play Ave Maria by Franz Schubert while waiting.

"While we're waiting. So we had a beautiful evening. And I don't know if they could get this song up quickly, but if they could work really quickly backstage while we're waiting. Ave Maria. Would anybody else like to faint? Please raise your hand. Let's do it now," Trump said.

Furthermore, according to People magazine, the former President struggled to answer questions during the Q&A session and, at one point, suggested that no one was interested in hearing the questions.

"Who the hell wants to hear questions, right?" the former President said.

It's important to note that there was some Q&A during the event. One person asked Trump about his plans to tackle grocery prices. However, according to NBC, the former President responded in unusual ways, mentioning a fictional character, Hannibal Lecter.

According to People, the moderator, South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, asked the former President if they should wrap up the town hall event with his chosen walk-off song or try to take more questions from the audience. In response, Trump opted for music, suggesting they should enjoy some "beauties" while sitting and relaxing.

The entire music session occurred just days before the presidential election, raising potential concerns. The presidential elections in the United States are scheduled for Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
