On October 13, BTS’ Jungkook performed his latest hit single, 3D, on Music Bank. He came bearing some amazing gifts for his fans, who were present to cheer for him. Bangtan's maknae gifted Korean ARMYs some Calvin Klein merch, making international ARMYs envious of Korean fans' privilege.
Calvin Klein is an American trendy, casual wear and undergarment brand of which BTS’ Jungkook is the global ambassador. Since this was his first time performing 3D on a Korean music show platform, Bangtan's maknae ensured he gave a heartfelt thank you present to K-ARMYs and deemed Calvin Klein the perfect way to express his gratitude to his fans.
However, international fans who could not attend the pre-recording for Music Bank hilariously expressed their jealousy towards Korean ARMYs on social media platforms.
BTS’ Jungkook's international fans wish they could have been at his Music Bank pre-recording
A section of BTS’ Jungkook's Korean fans who attended the pre-recording of his 3D performance at Music Bank received a small hamper consisting of either a ball cap or a bucket hat. The cap or hat was either black or white colored with Calvin Klein's logo on it.
Notably, the Calvin Klein cap was priced at $48.20 or KRW 65,000. The hamper contained an exclusive photocard of BTS’ Jungkook taking a selfie with his lip and eyebrow piercings on full display.
The back of the photocard carried a sweet message that read,
“Our ARMY, whom I want to see in 3D.”
Korean ARMYs were thrilled to receive these sweet presents from the SEVEN singer. In contrast, international ARMYs couldn't help but feel envy and jealousy towards their Korean counterparts for not being lucky enough to receive these sweet presents from Bangtan's maknae.
Additionally, BTS’ Jungkook went the extra mile in showcasing his love and concern for K-ARMYs by organizing a food truck serving prepackaged food and drinks. Each food box contained a drink, a macaron, and a cupcake wrapped in purple packaging, as its Bangtan's representative color.
The cupcake was a bunny wearing 3D glasses, a witty reference to his popular nickname "bunny," as he is fondly called by fans and friends for his rabbit-like facial features, and 3D in reference to his new song in collaboration with American rapper Jack Harlow. The drink was also a light purple to represent BTS and ARMY.
BTS’ Jungkook's food cart carried a hilarious message, earning amusing reactions from ARMYs
BTS’ Jungkook's food cart earned attention from Korean ARMYs present at the pre-recording of Music Bank. Not only was it a sweet gesture towards ARMYs, but it carried a witty message on its display as well. According to @R_taekook22's tweet, the text on the snack cart read:
Name: Jeon Jungkook
Date of birth: September 1, 1997 Characteristics: The man who took away ARMY’s sense of reality.
Hobbies: Preparing sweet desserts for ARMY
ARMYs were impressed with the Euphoria crooner's kind gesture and witty display message he put in for the Korean fans. Bangtan's maknae is currently amid his promotional activities for the November 3 release of his first solo album, GOLDEN.
In the coming days, he will release teasers, GOLDEN's tracklist, posters, and album previews leading up to the album's release.
