Boosie BadAzz is facing criticism from his openly lesbian daughter, Poison Ivi, regarding his h*mophobic views. On September 27, she took to Instagram to express her feelings about his comment that he didn't want her to "contaminate" the other children in the house. At the time of writing, BadAzz had not publicly responded to her video.

While making an appearance in Revolt World 2024 which took place between September 20 and 22, Boosie BadAzz spoke about how he would not allow his daughter, Poison Ivi, to bring her partners home as he wanted to protect his other children from her sexuality. He said:

“I mean, she still can’t bring her situation to our house. My daughter’s grown. Because I don’t want it to contaminate her other… It’s a generation we raising. I don’t want her to contaminate her other six, seven sisters who look up to her. I want them to bring me grandchildren the right way.”

In response to the same, Poison Ivi, whose real name is Iviona Hatch, took to her Instagram account to reveal that her father lied about the way he learned about her s*xuality in an interview and also said:

“If the world knew all the hurtful things you told me before, and I forgave you, and no matter how you feel, at the end of the day n**ga, I’m your blood. I am your daughter. And me, I feel like I done been through the most with you and every time I turn around it’s like you bashing me.”

“Emotionally, mentally, you su*k” — Boosie BadAzz seemingly comes under fire by daughter Poison Ivi

In her video, Poison Ivi stated that she was not trying to “disrespect” her father, Boosie, who has provided for her and her family. She stated that she wished her father would avoid speaking about her s*xuality in interviews if he was not in support of the same instead of making his opinions public. She also added:

“Emotionally, mentally, you suck. You suck, bruh. And I know you suck with that cause you’d rather go to the internet and have a conversation with the internet about your kids before you came to us and had that conversation.”

Poison Ivi also criticized how Boosie often involved God to justify his rejection of her s*xuality. Ivi said:

“I don’t recall not one time, me waking up with you and you taking me to the Lord’s house. I don’t never recall that, I didn’t learn that from you. I learned to hustle from you, I learned to not let nobody play with me form you, even if it’s you.”

Ivi also revealed online that her siblings did not have any issues with her s*xuality and also confided in her when they needed to. She also called out her father’s hypocrisy by noting that he had written songs about two women kissing in the backseat of a car.

She ended her video by saying that she would no longer speak about the matter and that she was “tired of sparing.” Ivi also stated that she loved him regardless, but there was no way she was going to let him speak to her the same way.

This is not the first time Boosie has shared his h*mophobic beliefs publicly. In January, he stated that he found the remake of The Colour Purple movie “gay” and that he did not want his daughters to see it.
